Kidbrooke is a large new build development in London. Barretts of Aspley (BoA) successfully tendered to an existing client, based on an unrivalled track record and competitive quote. The development consists of 4 buildings with over 300 units. As such the scale and scope of multi-disciplined work required demanded high production capacity and exacting planning of installation.
BoA carefully managed production and labour resources to ensure a streamlined manufacturing process. A wide variety of architectural steelwork required, including Balconies, Balustrades, Gates, Fences and Internal Staircases. As such, attention to detail and quality control were of paramount importance.
With requirement for such a wide variety of techniques and finishes, BoA surpassed all expectation with production of all steelwork requirements in-house, as well as sheet metal work and powder coating using the companies production facilities.
In addition to the sheer number of pieces required, BoA were required to carefully integrate installation with other trades. This required a large on-site presence to ensure fast and seamless installation of all elements.
This phase of an on-going twenty year development was delivered on-time and to the clients exacting standard. BoA ensured minimal defaults and a very high quality finish throughout.
