Barretts of Aspley (BoA) successfully tendered to win a new client for the new build development at Honeypot Lane - Stanmore. The complete range of architectural steelwork, metalwork and powder coating required is testament to BoA's turnkey service and in-house facilities. In addition to the range of services required, large timber screens and a ‘living wall' were specified.
Whilst many of the requirements at Stanmore were comfortably within BoA's remit of services, the large timber screens and ‘living wall' required particular attention.
Thermowood was sourced as a suitable material for its longevity and quality of finish. The finished timber screens were assembled away from site and craned into position as finished units. This process ensured both a streamlined installation process and a zero defect finished product.
All powder coating requirements were fulfilled by the in house finishing division at BoA. Industry-leading modern facilities ensure a cost effective and environmentally friendly process, which allows BoA to pass on powder manufacturer backed guarantees.
In addition to these bespoke elements, a large volume of balconies, juliettes, gates and railings were supplied and installed.
Based on the undoubted success at Stanmore, BoA has secured the work on further phases of this on-going development.
