Barretts of Aspley (BoA) recognise the importance of gaining accreditation of its health & safety procedures, quality assurance and environmental sustainability to be able to give customers peace of mind that they are employing a reliable and conscientious contractor.
In order to demonstrate this commitment to continuous improvement, BoA has its procedures and processes externally audited by a number of third party organisations to gain independent accreditation to internationally recognised standards.
BoA is 100% committed to the health and safety of all its operatives with the goal of ensuring that everybody who comes to work in the morning, goes home at night safe and well. This ethos is re-enforced by BoA having its health and safety systems accredited to international standard OHSAS 18001 – Health & Safety. BoA recognise that health & safety goes hand in hand with quality and continuous improvement.
To demonstrate this commitment to quality assurance, BoA management systems have been accredited to international standard ISO 9001 – Quality which allows customers to have confidence in the product they are receiving from BoA.
Working in the steelwork market means that BoA are bound by the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) and must be able to CE mark all products it delivers and installs. BoA systems have been externally audited and certified compliant to BS EN 1090-1 and BS EN ISO 3834 which allows BoA to CE Mark all of its products.
As a responsible company, BoA are aware of its responsibility to maintain the environment and carry out business in the most sustainable way. Accreditation to international standard ISO 14001 – Environmental Management, clearly demonstrated this on-going commitment.
In order to provide a complete service to its customers, BoA run a large fleet of commercial vehicles delivering products to customer sites. To be able to give customers confidence that this fleet is properly managed and maintained, BoA has had its fleet procedures accredited under the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme ‘FORS’.
